Today is the last day of the 2013 ski season in Steamboat Springs. I can’t believe that it’s over already! This winter just flew buy! It has definitely been a great one! Not just the snow, which has been ten times better than last year, but I also learned how to ski and has truly enjoyed it. I skied my last day yesterday, since I’m working today. Unfortunately, the conditions were not the best. It was so windy and icy up to, and then on the lower mountain it was all slush! It was one of those grey days too, and last night it was pouring rain. Who would have thought that today would be another powder day? Not me, that’s for sure. But this morning, there was 8 inches of fresh snow on the mountain and clear blue sky. That’s the think about Colorado weather; you never know what you will wake up to in the morning.
